Abstract Submission
Abstract submission for THE 3rd International Conference on Radiological Science and Technology has now closed.
General Information
All abstracts must follow the instructions listed below and be submitted online by June 1st for consideration by the 3rd ICRST Program committee. Please note that the closing date for abstract submission will not be extended and abstracts will only be accepted if the presenting author has registered by the presenter registration deadline of October 20, 2017. Authors will be notified of acceptance of abstracts by no later than late July, including the presentation type it has been accepted for.

Abstract Topics
We encourage authors to submit research topics related to our conference theme “radiation dose measurement and reduction”, however, any other topics about radiological science and technology will be acceptable. Authors will need to select at least one of the following topics for their abstract submission depending on which are the most applicable. The information is used for an effective and appropriate review process.

- Medical imaging processing and analysis
- Patient dose optimization
- Quality assurance
- Practice Management and Informatics
- Education
- Others
Presentation Categories
Accepted papers may be submitted for one of the following presentation categories.
Room, a date, and a time for accepted presentation will be sent by letter or email of acceptance.
Every effort will be made to accept an abstract for the presentation category selected in the submission process.
The 3rd ICRST Program Committee reserves the right to allocate a different presentation category if more appropriate and if program space is limited.
Oral Presentation
This type has 7 minutes’ presentation followed by 3 minutes for questions and answer discussion at the conference room.
We encourage you to take full advantage of visual aids through the use of computer monitor projection.
Poster Presentation
Poster presenters will be allocated a specific time to present a 30 minute on-site discussion to answer questions from viewers about your research within the 3rd ICRST program.
We believe that Poster Presentation provides an excellent means for scientific communication and personal interaction.
Electronic Poster (e-Poster)
Participants will be able to view all accepted presentations at the 3rd ICRST via the touch screens or available computers.
The option will also be available for participants to get in contact with poster authors via the online system provided should they wish to enquire about a particular poster.
Submitted electronic posters will be open for browsing from October 19 to 21, 2017 for registered participants of the 3rd ICRST.
Notes for Abstract Submission
- Only abstracts submitted in English will be reviewed
- Abstracts should be original work
- An abstract must be submitted by the presenting author
- Abstracts must not exceed 320 words (excluding the title, authors and affiliations)
- All abbreviations must be spelled out on first use
- Abstracts should be thoroughly checked for spelling and grammar
Only those abstracts formally accepted will be published in the 3rd ICRST Proceedings, Pocket Program and Conference App as submitted. Please ensure you check your data carefully before submitting as changes or additions will not be accepted after the Call for Abstracts closes.
A confirmation email is sent to the registered email address automatically when you have submitted completely.
Terms and Conditions
The submission of an abstract indicates an understanding of the following rules for participation in the 3rd ICRST:
Conflicts of Interest Disclosure
All authors are required to disclose any conflicts of interest prior to the submission of any abstracts in the subject matter of which any company, public agency, or organization has a financial interest (refer to Article 10 of Code of Ethics of the JSRT).
Please disclose conflicts of interest within your PowerPoint and electronic poster presentation materials.
Permission for Authors
We will ask authors for their permission regarding the following:
- Making your presentation available for browsing as an e-Poster from October 19 to 21, 2017 for registered participants of the 3rd ICRST
We will publish all accepted abstracts in the 3rd ICRST Proceedings, Pocket Program and Conference App.
Confidentiality
All presentation data will be completely deleted after the 3rd ICRST.
